In a nutshell,the alternative that Smartedge came up with allows for a patended edge to be moulded or extruded directly onto a board without any adhesive being used in the process.instead ,due to the plasticised nature of the material being extruded directly onto the edge,it fuses into the grain of the board to therefore eliminate the risk of delamination of the edge .

Smartedge has passed the most stringent tests involving impact and scuff resistance. The join line between the edge and the board is so fine that it makes the board water resistant.

True to us being ‘an innovative edge above the rest’ we can do any colour edges , this is perfect for corporate’s and may give you the edge on tenders. If we don’t have a colour and you would like a specific one to match the companies logo you are tendering for , colour match should be possible , this process takes approximately ten days.

Our edge has gained wide acceptance in the office furniture industry. Due to the success of the product we have introduced a second line and we now are able to offer this superb product to the hospitality , shop fitting ,kitchen and hiring industries.
